It’s very easy to love life without war. It’s more difficult when your comrades are lying on the tables, and you ask the doctor if you can treat someone with candy, because these are their favourites. It’s much hard to love that life when you look into the eyes of someone who spent a month to hold the line. It is impossible not to love life when a hand reaches out to you with the words: "And where are you from? Will you talk a little with me?". And somewhere behind the surgeon finds the strength to joke.

We can survive hostilities, but none of us can survive war, because no one survives wars. Although there are people who make all their efforts for this, and are ready to give their lives for it.
